Hike to the "Ossiacher Tauernteich"

If you are looking for a relaxing day surrounded by fresh air and breathtaking views, then the hike from the campsite to the Ossiacher Tauernteich is just the thing for you.

Starting directly from the campsite, the trail leads you along the well-signposted hiking paths. A short section may seem a little challenging at first, but don't worry, the hike becomes more pleasant after that.

TIP

A special highlight of the hike awaits you shortly before you reach the Tauern pond. This is a truly breathtaking spot, offering an incomparable panorama of the entire Lake Ossiach. This is the perfect moment to get out your camera and capture the beauty of the landscape forever.

After a short break at the Tauern pond, you can continue your journey to the Ossiacher Tauern church. Back at the Tauernteich, you have the choice of either taking the Tauernstraße or the Schluchtweg to Ossiach and then returning to the campsite.
